As the first barangay we visited, we were greeted by happy faces of barangay officials.

According to an inhabitant of Barangay Yati, the barangay got its name from the "Yati tree" which is abundant in the place.

As part of Liloan's campaign for preserving mother nature, each barangay developed a pocket forest with various kinds of trees.

San Roque Parish Church is just a few walks away from the main road. Beside the church is San Roque Child Development School, a private institution in the municipality.
